The election commission announced that the RK Nagar by-poll is wrapped up with 77% of polling. Even after 5 PM, nearly 5000 people rushed to the booths and received the tokens and voted in 85 polling booths. Even after 7 PM many people stood in queues and voted.

Male - 84195 Voting Percentage 75.92
Female – 92862 Voting Percentage 79.21
Others - 17 Voting Percentage 17.17
Total -1 77074 Voting Percentage 77.68
Women have the high voting percentage than the men.
