There have been mixed reviews about Puli but Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s film seems to have done well all over the world except in the USA. But the real test for the film came only on Monday which saw a sudden drop in collections. Puli grossed 31.5 crores in the 4 day opening weekend. Kerala brought in 4 crores and Karnataka 5.7 crores.
Andhra and Telangana brought in 4.65 crores and the Hindi version along with collections from other parts of India garnered 5.80 crores. World over BO numbers stand at about 64 crores and it still remains to be seen if the film will do well in the weekdays and if the big budget Puli will be profitable.
