BJP leader Ila Ganesan’s speech irritates the people of Tamilnadu. When people are protesting against the extraction of hydrocarbon project in Tamilnadu, Ganesan says that sacrificing a state for the welfare of a country is not at all wrong. He says, “நாட்டின் நலனுக்காக ஒரு மாநிலமும் மாநில நலனுக்காக ஒரு கிராமமும் தியாகம் செய்யலாம்.” As per the statement of Ganesan, a village or city could be destroyed by a state and a state could be destroyed for a country. If this project happens, the livelihood of the people will be destroyed. Drinking water and farming will be a big question mark. People in Neduvasal ask that is there any justice in destroying the livelihood of the people just for a hydrocarbon project.
