Kid Surjith Will Be Rescued Soon – Trichy Collector

Surjith, the 2year-old-kid fell into the unclosed borewell of 600 feet deep in Nadukkattupatti near Trichy and now he is in the 100^th feet. To make the kid steady and not to go down, his hands are locked with airlock technology. The rescue efforts had been going on for more than 31 hours. The last attempt is to get the kid by using the Rig machine. The Trichy collector hopes that they could do it with the machine.

The Rig machine weighs 96 tons and the vehicle that carries the machine could move only up to 20 km per hour. After the machine reaches the place, the installation process will take 2 hours. So, the work could be completed only at 4 am, stated the collector. However, he hopes that they could rescue the child in this attempt.
