The finance minister announced the budget, the debts incurred by the government and the funds allotted for various departments. Some of them are:

Livestock Maintenance - Rs.1,161 Cr  

Drinking Water - Rs. 615 Cr       

Revenue Shortfall – Rs. 15,994 Cr

Income via Commercial Tax – Rs. 77234 Cr

Allotment for Industry – Rs. 2088 Cr

Housing scheme for the police department – Rs. 450 Cr

School Education - Rs. 26,932 Cr      

Prison Department – Rs. 252 Cr      

After the budget report is filed, “O Panneerselvam” was the first person to leave the assembly. Now, it is reported that the Speaker Dhanapal announced that the Assembly is adjourned and the next assembly session will be held on Monday. Something interesting might be waiting to be discussed on Monday Assembly!
