Jallikattu Issue Started Again!

Jallikattu, the cultural sport of Tamilnadu had been hosted for centuries. Following the case filed by some animal welfare associations like PETA, the sport that helped to develop the native breed was forcefully stopped. Following this, the youngsters, children and women in almost all the districts in Tamilnadu, started protesting against those associations that banned the sport. A harmless grand protest was organized in Chennai Marina, to get back the cultural sport Jallikattu and it is said to be the biggest protest in the world. From then, people don’t see Marina as a beach, but a historical wonder that united various people. Later, the government lifted the ban temporarily and allowed to host Jallikattu. Now, the PETA has started its work again and filed a case against the sport. The case is to ban the sport in TN. The Supreme Court ordered the TN government to reply in this regard within 4 weeks.
