IR 8 – A Film About Agriculture!

IR 8 is an upcoming film that deals with farming. The film states about a farmer, who powerfully speaks about the importance of agriculture. He didn’t get any support from the government and his children. How he takes agriculture to educated youth is the main plot of the story. The film is directed by NP Ismail, who had already directed “Singamugam,” “Sollamaten” and Vanga Vanga. The film is produced by T Jayakumar, Ayesha and Akmal. The shooting was held in the Theerthamalai and Veda Kattumadavu villages in Salem district, Pazhani, Dharmapuri and Aroor in 45 days.
