Commonwealth Games: India’s Medal Hunt Continues….

Commonwealth Games 2018 started on a positive note for India with a silver medal in weightlifting. Today is the seventh day of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018. India’s medal tally is filled with 23 medals; 11 gold, 4 silver and seven bronze. Today, the seventh day started with bronze for India. Om Prakash Mitharwal, the shooter grabbed the bronze medal in 50m Pistol Men’s Finals. It is happy to hear that yet another is confirmed for India today, as Mary Kom, the boxer entered the finals in boxing. She plays under the 45-48kg category. Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu would start their hunt, today. In yesterday’s event, Heena Sidhu, the pistol shooter grabbed the gold and the para-powerlifter Sachin Chaudhary bagged bronze.
