,” the Tamilnadu opposition party leader is the DMK President. He is an atheist and his party preaches the same. But, Durga Stalin, wife of the DMK President is a theist. She visits temples often and even offers poojas and yaga too. Stalin hadn’t stopped Durga from visiting temples, as it is her belief. He had accepted the prasadas from the temple also.
Today, Stalin’s wife visited Kanchipuram Athivaradhar, who had come out after 40 years from the temple pond. His idol will be kept for 48 days and would once again be sent in the pond with the poojas. It is believed that after Aththi Varadhar is laid inside the pond, the state would get the seasonal rain and agriculture would flourish. Let us wait for the rain to quench the thirst of Tamilnadu!
