,” the ardent devotee of Lord Aiyappa had visited the Sabarimala Temple, a lot of times. This year, during Onam, he paid a visit to the temple along with his friends. For the first time in his life, the legend sang, Harivarasanam in front of Aiyappa Shrine. Yesudas’ fans will always place this particular devotional song on the top of their favourite list, as it is mesmerising. As per the request by the Devaswom board, the legend sang it before closing the sanctum sanctorum for the day. It is a traditional practice to sing the song before closing the sanctum sanctorum, every night. Kambakudi Kulathu Iyer composed the song. When Yesudas sand the song with his captivating voice, everyone in the temple was mesmerised. Being a Christian by birth, Yesudas made it a practice to visit this Hindu temple, following the 48 days regimen. Hats off to your religious integration sir!
