. Suriya has got a good fan base in Kerala. As the new film has a high demand in Kerala, the theater owners are ready to get the film for a high price. However, there were talks going on regarding the distribution price. Generally, the distributors in Kerala get a 60% of the collection amount and only the 40% will be given to the theater owners. Meanwhile, the theater owners demand an extra of 10% collection. However, the distributors didn’t agree with the request by the theater owners. The discussion went on how to share the gross collection between the producers, distributors and the theater owners. As there was no positive reply from the theater owners, the Malayalam producers put a hold on the shooting and show their protests against the theater owners. They also announced that they wouldn’t screen new Malayalam movies. This has created an extra demand for Suriya’s S3. Let us wait and watch!
