, who has been working in both Malayalam and Tamil films, says that she had a great Onam in her childhood. Sshivada says that her family was in Chennai. During the Onam time, she and her sister will bunk the classes and celebrate Onam with their family. Both of them had tried their hand in making Ona Sadya, during their school days. The apartment where Sshivada’s family lived had 20 families and none of them were Malayalis. Sshivada’s parents invite the entire apartment friends to their home during Onam. They prepare Ona Sadya for twenty families and serve them with pride. To make the Sadya, they had never asked help from anyone, says Sshivada. They also have gifted their friends with Onakkodi and their friends love the traditional Kerala Sari gifted by Sshivada's family. Stay tuned with us for more Onam updates from celebs!
