’s sudden demise has created several controversies. It is rumored that his death is a pre-planned murder. Ramakrishnan, Kalabhavan Mani’s brother, feels the same. In his latest interview to an online portal, he said that Mani had lent money to his close pals but without essential documents. When he wanted to buy a property, he asked them to give back his money. As the friends didn’t expect this from Mani, they planned to kill him and did the same, says Ramakrishnan. Those friends who borrowed from Mani are the reason for a slide in Mani’s career, added Ramakrishnan. However, Kalabhavan Mani was attached very much to his friends. When his family tried to make him understand the situation he was facing, he never listened. Mani’s family still believes that he was slow poisoned to death by his so-called friends.
