We have already seen his exemplary performances in films including “Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum.” Mani’s last film, released a couple of days back and it is a Tamil film titled, Pudhusa Naan Porandhen. His dedication and commitment to the film stunned the director, Majid Abu. In the latest interview, the director said, "Mani sir's scenes were shot in Kodaikanal. While shooting an important sequence, Mani was suffering from high fever. He had to come out of a water tank and fight the villains. As he had a high fever, I called off the shoot and rescheduled. Mani Sir could have taken a break easily. But the dedicated actor did not want to trouble the unit with a delay and completed the shoot with his high fever. His gesture touched the entire unit. This is his last film in Tamil. It is painful that he is no more when the film hits the screens."
