Actress, Poonam Bajwa will portray a completely different role in her next film, Zacharia Pothen Jeevichirippundu. She will play as a homemaker and will be paired up with "Manoj K Jayan".
When asked what made her accept a love story that will be directed by a debutant director with no big names on it, the actress said, she have signed for some projects because of the impressive casting. And now, she came to the point where she would like to do significant roles where there is an opportunity to perform. She also added that her character in the film is something she have not done before and though she will play as a homemaker, her story will be shown in the entire film.
Poonam wants to focus on her roles now and she is not looking for heroes or directors of the film as there are many new filmmakers out there who have fresh concepts. At this point, she is doing innocent and bubbly roles but would want to do negative roles in the future. She said she is all set to get out of her comfort zone and perform in better roles.
