Movie Traffic Now A Part Of College Curriculum

The movie created a new trend during the year of 2011. It announced a much-awaited change of scenario in the Malayalam cine field. It is almost six years since the movie’s release, and one year since the death of the film maker. Now, the screenplay of the movie has been included in the curriculum of Kannur University. The movie Traffic is now among the list of movies being taught in the curriculum.

Other movies are Perumthachan, Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha and Ranjith’s Pranchiyettan and the movie Saint. Now, the screenplay of the movie Traffic is a part of the Arangum Porulum for BA Malayalam students. Jayachandran Keezhoth, the Chairman of the college, promoted the idea while Rajesh Pillai was alive. The movie Traffic won many accolades, and teachers and students expressed interest in making it a part of the syllabus.
