The Indian cricket team earned a big credit when it emerged victorious in the World Cup in 1983. The team was the least favorite then, but managed to win the trophy. The real life instance is now going to be made as Hindi movie. The movie’s producers signed up a Memorandum of Understanding with the 1983.
Now, they are to make a biopic depicting their journey to success in 1983 World Cup. The cricket players are excited that a movie is being made out of their lives, and their success in the tournament. Kapil Dev spoke on the event and said ‘It is indeed inspiring that the real life instance is being made as a movie.
If one sets a goal for himself, nobody could stand in the way, said Kapil Dev. Vishnu Induri is the movie’s director, and Madhu Mantena is the movie’s producer. They have said that it is a very rare opportunity to take such a movie, and they will make the best use out of it.
