Siddique said, the actress will be playing as Anjali, an ambitious modern girl who works in an IT field. He added, Anjali’s character has dreams that are not restricted to her present career. Anjali is a representation of the modern women that we often see these days; someone that is ready to explore the world and strive to achieve her dreams. Anjali is a girl who doesn’t want to be tied up to any relationships even if the guy is the most handsome one, he won’t be able to persuade her to choose him over her ambitions. The director also explains that Madonna’s character is not that of a typical Malayali woman.

When asked why he picked Madonna, the director explained, he wanted someone that is not too naadan, someone that has a vital factor on her personality to portray the role and Madonna has this quality. Madonna was apparently excited to bag the role in Siddique’s next. She said she feels blessed and proud of doing a Siddique-Dileep film.
