Kavya Makes Ripples On Music Charts!

Kavya Ajit is an upcoming singer, who has left no stones unturned in her career so far. Although she may look like a new entrant on the block, she is surely making ripples. Her childhood dream has been slowly developing and it is sure that she will accomplish it. She made her debut in “Rose Guitarainaal.” Recently, her duet with Vineeth Sreenivasan in “Jacobinte Swargarajyam” has grabbed the attention of the audiences. However, it was her luck that introduced her to Shahabaz Aman, who was in search of a new voice. Besides being a Carnatic singer, Kavya is a talented Western violinist too. She learned her Carnatic basics from her granny, Kamala Subramaniam, who had worked in All India Radio. Kavya has moved to Chennai from Kozhikode. She is a software engineer by her profession. Besides working in an IT company, Kavya had sung various jingles. Although she made a debut in Rose Guitarinaal, Kavya got a breakthrough from “Jo And The Boy” and “Jacobinte Swargarajyam.” She has also performed in various TV shows along with the popular playback artists including Karthik, Naresh Iyer and Vijay Prakash.
