While speaking to the reporter, Jagadish broke down. Jagadish was asked about ‘Mohanlal’s support to his opponent Ganesh Kumar. Jagadish said that Mohanlal supported Ganesh Kumar not as a political ally, but as a friend. “However, Mohanlal is my friend too. Before he met Ganesh, I and Mohanlal were good friends. Mohanlal called me and wished me the best, a day before,” said Jagadish. While speaking about Mohanlal, he broke down severely. Citing this issue, Salim Kumar, the National Award-winning actor has resigned from AMMA. According to Salim, the members of AMMA should not intervene in politics.Being a Vice President of the Association Mohanlal has skipped the rule, feels Salim. Hence, the actor quits from AMMA. But, the President Idavela Babu says that Salim has resigned for his personal reasons.
