, will be re released on 26 July in a remastered format.
Interestingly, Mohanlal’s cult classic ‘Manichithrathazhu’ is also up for re release. The release date of the remastered movie has been postponed to 17 August for now.
‘Devadoothan’ had released in December 2000. It was a mystery horror film which starred Mohanlal and Jayaprada in the lead roles. The movie was commercially unsuccessful, but its theme, as well as the acting performances mesmerized many movie buffs and it gained a cult status.
Some fans are also demanding the return of Sibi Malayil and Mohanlal for a new movie. However, it is easier said than done. Mohanlal is currently super busy with multiple projects, and he is not on very good terms with Sibi Malayil either. The duo had last worked on a movie together almost 17 years ago.
