was debuted in Lal Jose’s Malayalam film, Nee-Na. She played as an alcoholic tomboy girl who eventually falls in love with Vijay Babu’s character. In the film, Deepti has a short hair to make her character realistic and the actress revealed that she loves her hair style. But in her next film, the actress will be seen in a longer hair as it started growing. She also mentioned that after Nee-Na, she has received many film offers and was hoping to choose the best film among those.
The actress who got criticized for the dubbing of Nee-Na, because of the improper syncing of the dialogues with the movements of her lips, is a half Malayali. She said she is willing to correct those criticisms on her next film by learning the Malayalam language better. The actress also received compliments by some young girls who revealed that they are also a real life Nee-Na and many parents were thankful for the message of the film as they get to know their young ones better when they are going through some tough times.
