Bhavana is a Malayalam actress. She entered engagement with her longtime associate, Kannada actor, and producer Naveen on Thursday. The exchange of ring happened in a simple ritual at her residence at the hometown Thrissur. Originally, the ceremony was supposed to be held on March 3rd. But, the ritual was delayed due to deaths in the family. It is not very long since Naveen lost his mother and Bhavana her father.
Bhavana’s mother Pushpa said that they meant to conduct a simple exchange of rings in front of the photos of the deceased. But, Naveen’s family, who in fact are Telugu people, settled in Bangalore, wanted the rituals to be carried out as per their customs. So, there was an exchange of garlands which made some people assume that it was her wedding. Bhavana’s mother Pushpa said that the family wanted to keep it a secret and make an announcement of the wedding later on. But, somehow the photos leaked.
