At present, Sowcar Janaki is residing in Bangalore. The Award includes 20-gram gold coin and a cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh. Started her life as a Radio Jockey, Janaki continues her career as a cinema artist. It is to be noted that after her marriage, Janaki made her debut as an actress. Janaki has got the name Sowcar Janaki, from the Telugu movie “Savukar”. She got fame through her excellent performance in Telugu and Tamil movies.
