Shailendra Babu
is one among the leading producers in Kannada film industry. He had a serious clash with the Regional Censor Board for rejecting some of the portions in his recent movie ‘
Bhale Jodi
’.
Shailendra Babu says that he could not agree with the sensor board, as there are objectionable scenes in other movies, which they certified “U”. While comparing, with other movies, his movie is not lacking in decency, says Shailendra Babu. He complains the censor board as a dictatorship, which spoils the true filmmakers like him. He also says that he has done a family entertainer, which is a remake of a hit Telugu movie, ‘Ala Modalayindi’. There are no vulgar dialogues or scenes in the film, utters Babu. Regional censor officer Nagendra Swamy shot back with sharp comments against Shailendra Babu. ‘Bhale Jodi’ is directed by
Sadhu Kokila
and stars with Sumanth Shailender and Shanvi Srivatsav.
