Santhosh Ananddram Reveals He Is A Fan Of Upendra

The director divulged that it was Upendra who inspired him to pursue a career in directing films.

Now, Santosh is thrilled to watch Uppi 2, but before he does, he turned to his social media page to discuss the significance of Upendra in his career. He said that in 1999, after he watched the classic film Upendra, he decided to become a director. He added, “Uppi sir ignited lakhs of minds to enter films I was one amongst them!!” And now, it was his 15-years as a director and he is about to watch Uppi 2 tomorrow. Santosh also said that if there is one thing that haven’t change after watching Upendra is, he is still a fan of the actor.

He also thanked Upendra for making Kannada proud and concluded his message with, “Jai Hind, Jai Karnataka maathe.”
