Ramesh Aravind
, the versatile actor, has been enjoying his cinema career for the past twenty-five years. Now, Ramesh is gearing up for his 100th film, “
Pushpaka Vimana
.” Ramesh says that the movie is about the goodness of the soul. Mangalore is one of the favorite places of Ramesh. He has already shot some of his iconic movies in the Karavali Coast. “America America” and “Sambrama” were shot here. Ramesh says that the Mangalore beaches evoke the same feelings where we can’t get it from elsewhere. He has been enjoying his trip to his favorite place. He loves the art and culture. When he was asked about it, the “Kattegalu Sir Kattegalu, Kothigalu Sir Kothigalu” star says, "Like on this trip I got a deeper insight about the much-revered Bhootha Kola. I've always been fascinated by this art form so this time, I'm taking back home a CD that showcases varied performances and a book that explains its inner workings. I'm so inspired by the colourful makeup and the distinctive garb that these performers don, that I want to use the concept in my latest directorial Gandu Endare Gandu. Of course, I do not want to tamper with the religious significance of it; I'll probably convey the essence of the Kola in a song or so." Hope, we will get a film of artistic excellence through Gandu Endare Gandu.
