Idolle Ramayana was sent to the censor board for certification and it has been certified as clean U without any cuts. The film is slated for theatrical release on 7th October. The run time of the film is 110 minutes. Earlier, it was said that Prakash Raj would be directing a Bollywood film, after the release of Idolle Ramayana. The film is the remake of the trilingual film, Oggarane/ Un Samayalarayil/ Ulavacharu Biryani.
