We all know that Kannadigas protest against the Supreme Court’s verdict on Cauvery water issue. The protesters have burned images of the politicians and a bandh was held. Although the actors also protest for the water supply to Tamilnadu, an actress faced a violent moment, while she was travelling in her car.
Meghna Raj
is one among the multilingual artists, who is seen in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries. While she was travelling near NICE road junction, her car was attacked by the protesters. She explained the situation to a leading daily. Meghna Said, “A bunch of protesters, hit the rear windshield of my car and stopped us near the NICE Road junction. They tried to open the door and force us out, but we kept the doors locked. Once they saw that I was in the car, things got a little out of control. But thankfully, I had my crew and staff in the car with me, and my driver was able to talk to the protesters. The entire ordeal went on for 15 minutes, and it was very scary. I suspect that a couple of them were drunk."
