It is indeed a herculean task to make a debut into the field of cinema. Directors possessing a talent pool could not get theaters and distributors due to economic crunch.
Recently, a producer of Kannada field,'Shashikumar-producer'attempted suicide.
Inability to release his movie produced two years back may have made him resort to such a drastic step. His movie was titled Half Mental.
He had produced the movie at a budget of INR 3.25 Crore. Although he made repeated attempts to release the movie, he could not manage to get theaters. He had borrowed exorbitant amount for the movie and could not afford further money for release of the movie.
