Hamsalekha To Make Directorial Debut With OK

Hamsalekha is all set to make his debut as a director.

The music director and writer is working on his directorial debut OK. The movie was launched at a special ceremony held recently. Actor Ravichandran turned up as the special guest for the occasion.

The movie OK will be bankrolled by Nagesh Vashtaar and Suryaprakash under the banners of Akanksha Productions and Hamsalekha’s own banner, Aidani Entertainment. Hamsalekha also discussed about the evolving film industry.

According to the musician, the focus is more on making PAN India movies. However, the heart and soul, i.e. good songs, strong dialogues, comedy etc. is missing from most of the movies. Only if makers focus on movies rooted in the local culture, will they work better at the box office.
