," who is popular for her homely roles in Kannada and Tamil films, is quite dissatisfied with the theatre setup in Kannada film Industry. The actress, who is the ex-chairperson of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy, expressed her unhappiness openly that the theatre policies in Karnataka are not designed to favour the films. The frequent changes in the rents are also one among the disadvantages and it disturbs the collection at the box office. She also expressed her dissatisfaction that films with excellent running capacity are forced to quit the screens soon, due to the release of other state films. Without mentioning the name of Madamakki, which got the excellent review from both critics and the audiences, Tara slammed the theatre policies that made the film suffer.
