Serials like Manus and Abhalmaya took the decision to tie the knot with her long time boyfriend, Nikhil Kale, a few months ago. Nikhil is an engineer by profession. Swarangi came from a renowned yet humble background and started acting in movies since she was ten-years-old. She is the granddaughter of the famous musician Pandit Ram Marathe. Swarangi and Nikhil decided to get hitched in February this year in a low profile ceremony. Every girl has big plans for her wedding and generally the couples and their families throw money around to ensure that the weddings are grand and extravagant. But this couple is a little hatke. They didn’t invite any of their friends and colleagues for their big day. Instead, they decided to collect the money that would otherwise have been spent on the wedding and wanted to donate the amount to an NGO working for forest dwellers, and also to some institutions that promote music. Their families too loved the idea and had given them the thumbs up.
