Shahid Ali first started his career as an assistant director and subsequently has also ventured into acting. He is also associated with a theater group, ‘Prachyanat’. In a recent interview, he mentioned that he would continue working on theater. Along with that, he will also continue his foray in the television industry. So far, the actor has been a part of seven films. The last one to come out was, ‘Shankhachil’. Initially, he was supposed to be the assistant director for the film. But since he didn’t have the time for that, he willingly played a small role so that he could work with Gautam Ghose. The actor also mentioned that he prefers to take up roles that opposite to his real life persona. He wants to become a film actor and establish himself in the industry while still pursuing his love for filmmaking. The actor mentioned that he believes that the film industry right now is in a chaotic state. He hopes that it gets revived soon.
