, the Nightingale of India, was admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai, following a few difficulties in her health. She had been in the intensive care unit getting the treatment for breathing issues. People from her family stated that she is better now and also thanked everyone for keeping her in their prayers. It was also said that she had been suffering from pneumonia and her left ventricle had failed. However, she recuperates well and this is good news for the fans.
Lata had sung in 36 regional languages in her career. She had crooned in more than 1000 Hindi movies. The 90-year-old musician had been honored with a lot of awards including Bharat Ratna, Dada Saheb Phalke Award, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan. Get Well Soon, Lata Di!
