, are also in the same field. Born on 28th September 1929 as Hema Mangeshkar, Lata Didi started her career in the Indian film industry in 1942. She had not retired from her profession and had been singing till her last. She might have been active if she hadn’t caught up with covid19. In January 2022, Lata Ji suffered from coronavirus and was admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai. Even after 28 days of severe treatment, her body couldn’t recuperate, and she died on 6th February 2022. Though she is not present, her songs will always make her remember. May her soul rest in peace, and our deepest condolences to her family!
