Hameed Sheik Shocked!

Hameed Sheikh is a well-respected and acclaimed Pakistani actor, who began his career at the theatre and ventured into Television and films. His films are loved by many in a country where Bollywood dominates over local films. The thespian was in the middle of a huge controversy in March this year when a Pakistani government-sponsored advertisement pictured him as a terrorist. The actor himself was not aware of this until he was informed about it by his co-stars. When he saw the ad himself, he was shell shocked and took to Facebook to tell the people that the video was a part of his upcoming flick "Abdullah" and that he had no idea whatsoever about how the government got the video and aired it without his consent. He also added that he belonged to Balochistan but is not a terrorist. The TV ad was being aired on the country's leading news and entertainment channels and was tarnishing his image that he had built for 30 years of hardship in the film industry.
