is the noted producer in Bollywood. He has said that he would take action against an imposter who hacked his Twitter account with the intention of extorting money from other colleagues in the film industry. The producer is currently in Bangkok shooting for a movie. He was alerted that his Twitter account was hacked, and he received warnings in the form of phone calls. As per reports, the imposter seems to have contacted many media professionals and colleagues of the film industry, demanding sum ranging from 5000 to 10000 to be transferred to his account for a show to be held in Lucknow.
The caller even came up with a contact number to make the transfer which was later found to be a Gujarat number. Boney Kapoor has not been active on Twitter since the year of 2015. The producer is firm about taking action on the culprit. He has suggested his team contact the cybercrime cell so that the culprit is arrested.
