The famous Bollywood comedian, Raju Srivastav passed away today in Delhi, after being admitted to AIIMS and had been in a ventilator for 40 days. The actor, who was doing his regular workout on the treadmill collapsed due to cardiac arrest on 10th August 2022. After the 58-year-old-comedian was admitted to the hospital, his cousin, Ashok Srivastava, informed the media. On the day of getting admitted to the hospital, he underwent angioplasty, which is used to repair the arteries and veins that are blocked or narrowed.
Even after the treatment for 40 days, his body didn’t get back to normal and he was announced dead today morning. The Kanpur-born actor is survived by his wife Shika and children, Ayushman and Antara. Besides being an actor, he was also a politician. He had also contested in the Lok Sabha election from Kanpur.
