According to the recent reports, Maddock Films has decided to postpone their romantic comedy, Param Sundari to a further date. This decision was taken after Ajay Devgn decided to lock July 25 as the release date for his comic caper, Son of Sardaar 2.

With successes like Chhaava and Bhool Chuk Maaf in their kitty, Maddock Films doesn’t want to jeopardize their current track record. Sidharth had last starred in the action drama Yodha, which was a box office failure when it released last year.

On the other hand, after a whirlwind experience last year, Ajay Devgn is back to minting money with Raid 2, the sequel of the investigative thriller Raid, which was based on the iconic income tax raid on Sardar Inder Singh in 1981, which is said to be one of the longest income tax raids of that time. The movie earned significant success at the box office success, with a revenue of nearly 250 crores worldwide.

With Son of Sardaar 2, Ajay hopes to maintain his bandwidth of success.
