Aishwarya Loves Cinema For The Very Essence Of It

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is busy with the promotional activities of her upcoming film Sarbjit, the trailer of which has been applauded. Ahead of its release Aishwarya talks of the reasons behind the choices she has made in terms of her films. The actress’ skills were appreciated internationally which made her land in Mistress of Spices, Pink Panther 2, Bride & Prejudice and Provoked. She says that she appreciates cinema because of the pleasure she gets by being a part of it- she would never judge a film by the language or the region from where the film belongs- these things have never mattered. She strongly believes that for an actor it is important to try out different kinds of roles and different genres of movies. A film star needs to be experimental and versatile, according to her. She congratulates the artists who are making it to Hollywood and taking India to a Global level. She says that people like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are doing their job well and not localizing Cinema. She feels lucky to have done South Indian films, Hndi and Bengali films and a few English ventures too. She continues to believe that the content of the movie and the actor’s personal schedule are the only things that should ever matter.
