Before the official launch of the OnePlus 13, leaks about the device started to circulate in the mobile world. The OnePlus 13 will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
Similar to the previous releases, the Chinese smartphone company might decide to launch the OnePlus 13 in China before they make it available in the global market. Speculations suggest this smartphone will have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which is considered the best technology for biometric authentication. This is quite different from the old optical under-display fingerprint sensor that the company has used in previous generations of its devices.
With regards to the display of this upcoming smartphone, it is anticipated that the company will use the same 2K screen display. Reports also suggested that the OnePlus 13 will boast a Hasselblad triple camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide sensor, and a telephoto sensor. Leaks also claims that this phone has a large off-center camera that sits on the left side.
The rest of the phone’s specifications are still unknown. We are yet to find out more in the coming days. The OnePlus 12, which was released in India earlier this year, has a base model boasting 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage and is priced at Rs 64,999. The high-end variant, which has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage, was priced at Rs 69,999. Let’s see if the company will use the same pricing strategy in this latest model.
