One of the worst Bollywood films ever, Son of Sardaar released in 2012 had a terrible storyline, embarrassing songs, over-the-top acting, and hilariously bad dance sequences. Safe to say, it was a pretty bad film.
Still, it managed to earn a 135 cr at the worldwide box office despite receiving bad reviews from the audience and critics for its absurd storyline.

Arguably director David Dhawan’s worst film, Judwaa 2 featured his son Varun in a double role. It was a pure cringe fest and torture to watch. It received bad reviews from the audience and critics alike.
But somehow it performed exceptionally well at the box office and earned over 227 cr at the worldwide box office.
Housefull 4 was a complete mess with a terrible plot, mindless comedy, really bad jokes, and some of the worst acting performances of the last decade. The critics panned it wholeheartedly and review bombed it, which it deserved.

The movie used the same formula as Bollywood movies in the 90s with a melodramatic plot surrounding a dysfunctional royal family, conniving family members, a jealous step-brother, Salman Khan in a double role, all of which is really out of place today.

Grand Masti, the sequel to the movie Masti was a terrible film compared to its predecessor. Sexual innuendos, an over-the-top plot involving extra-marital affairs, and horrible performances rendered this adult comedy completely not worth watching.
This movie made on a budget of 30 cr earned a worldwide gross of 130 cr at the box office. We are shocked to see how this one became a huge hit.

Another Salman Khan film on our list, Ready was a crappy film. The storyline was senseless with bad direction, unfunny jokes and the performances were hilariously bad. The critics gave it unfavorable reviews upon release.
But the audience loved the film apparently, and it earned 180 cr at the worldwide box office.
The Hate Story franchise has given us terrible after terrible films, and this one was no different. With a mind-boggling plot revolving around trading one’s wife for huge business profits, extremely poor performances, and steamy scenes laid throughout, Hate Story is one of the worst films ever.
But somehow it worked, and the movie made on a budget of 20 cr went on to collect over 75 cr worldwide at the box office.
