Bollywood films have been our only true pals throughout it all as millennials raised in middle-class Indian homes with cable TV as our sole source of amusement. It has given us some genuinely wonderful films that have moved us, some truly awful ones that have caused us to doubt our very existence and some that have had us laugh till we were nearly in tears. However, as a super-emo audience, often known as "senti," we have all secretly enjoyed emotionally laden melodramas that have made us cry uncontrollably. Here are some of our all-time favorite, depressing Bollywood films that we still watch today.

There is no way you could have missed this famous sequence from Kal Ho Naa Ho unless you have been living in total denial of Bollywood films.
