The film delivers a strong social message with the village as the hot topic. The emotions of the protagonist in returning back to his native country is well captured. Patriotism is at the peak in the film, but unfortunately it bombed at the box office.

2. Akele Hum Akele Tum

This film is a heart-rending rendition of the bond between a wife and husband. Though the film was not a box office success, it garnered cult following with the passage of time. This is the story of two men who want to make money as fast (but being sluggish) as possible. Absurdity is beautifully woven in this film and the acting and timing of the film is good. You will definitely have a different perspective towards humor after watching it.

4. Khamoshi

Salman, Nana, Manisha and Seema were at their best in this movie. It revolves around the happenings in the life of a girl whose parents are deaf and mute.
