Amitabh Bachchan – Superstar Of The Millennium

The name says it all. How can one not know him, he is a legend. His acting skills have wowed the audience since he first appeared on the silver screen. No one in Bollywood would ever be able to replace him. He has become a role model to many aspiring actors. Even little kids imitate him when asked to play their favourite actor. He has made a special place in everybody’s hearts. The great super star has given us many reasons to love him, one being his dialogues that are used on a daily basis. Each one of us, has some day or the other, used his dialogues in our conversations. The following are some dialogues that are mostly used by us in our day to day lives.

1. Rishte Main To Hum Tumhare Baap Lagte Hain, Naam Hai Shahenshah (Shahenshah)

We can never replace this dialogue from our lives. This is the most used dialogue when we want to do prank calls. The dialogue had the weight of everything in the right proportion, maturity, anger and seriousness. The movie was a big hit, and Big B got his name “Shahenshah” from here. One can see the acting skills here. Young Big B was to play the role of an aged person which he enacted very well.

2. Don Ko Pakdna Mushkil He Nai, Namumkin Hai (Don)

The above lines can be brought to use when with friends and they say “I’ll see you later.” It is fun to use daily. Here, Big B had to enact the role of Don, who is a successful smuggler. Also, he says the lines “Don ka intezar 11 mulkon ki police kar rahi hai” which became a bit hit. The dialogue had an attitude in it and that attitude can also be seen in Amitabh’s eyes.

This beautiful dialog had the essence of love in it. This dialogue is mostly spoken for the loved ones. Amitabh made these mere lines come to life. The dialogue was spoken with such delicacy and love that they become a pleasure to the ears. Big B’s this dialogue explained so much in such few words. It was definitely one bit hit.

4. Main Aaj Bhi Phenke Hue Paise Nahi Uthata (Deewar)

This dialogue is so much famous and so frequently used. The dialogue had the perfect tone of attitude. Amitabh made sure the lines were not just lines, but buckets full of ego and temper. Here the role was of a young man who had an uncompromising attitude and denies anything which was against his morals. This was a strong character and very well played by Big B.

5. Jo Mard Hota Hai, Use Dard Nahi Hota (Mard)

This dialogue is famous among guys and they are often seen bashing each other ( not literally bashing, just for fun) and saying these lines. Here Amitabh is actually portraying a real man and fighting evil. He is defining what a real man should do.

6. Vijay Dinanath Chauhan; Poora Naam, Baap Ka Naam Dinanth Chauhan, Maa Ka Naam Suhasini Chauhan, Gaon Mandwa, Umar Chhattis Saal, Nau Mahina, Aath Din, Yeh Solvaan Ghanta Chal Rahela Hai… Haain? (Agneepath)

This is the most impressive introduction ever. The expressions here could be felt so strongly. The depth of the voice and anger in between the words were quite loud. Big B made sure that all eyes were on him. This movie even had a remake, but none could compare the intensity of this dialogue like Big B spoke.

7. Jahan Hum Kahde Hote Hain, Line Wahin Se Shuru Hoti Hai (Kaalia)

This epic dialogue had to be Big B’s. These lines can be heard in mess queues. This had slight humour in it with lots of attitude. Amitabh very well executed this line and gave us all a dialogue of his to copy.

8. I Can Talk English, I Can Walk English, I Can Laugh English Because English Is A Very Phunny Language. (Namak Halal)

Here Big B can be seen in a comic role. He is trying to make fun of English. We can hear this dialogue among kids having fun together. Big B is truly an inspiration to other actors.

9. Main Aur Meri Tanhaai — Aksar Ye Baatein Karte Hain (Silsila)

This is sweet, romantic dialogue. They both can be seen madly in love. Also, this is a famous dialogue for lovers when describing their time without their partners. Thank you for such perfect lines.

10. Keh Diya Na, Bs, Keh Diya (Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham)

This dialogue was so intense that it made us all cry at that moment. Here Big B had to play the role of a father who was a high class business man. His elder son (played by SRK) fell for a middle class girl. This was unacceptable for Big B so he says the above lines with the perfect ratio of anger and volume. This dialogue is mostly used amongst the teens as humour, but in reality it had great depth.
