In 2015, she again surpassed everyone with the film ‘Talvar’ in which she was portrayed as a mother accused of killing her only daughter, Arushi.

3. Shabana Azmi

She has received national and international accolades for mostly each of her film. She made debut with the movie Ankur and after that did mind-blogging films like Arth, Sparsh, Fire and Godmother. Known for her unconventional role choices, Shabana essayed various roles as a witch in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Makdee, singer in Morning Raga or a politician in Matru ki Bijli ka Mandola.
