1. He Considered Changing His Name

The actor’s full name was Ranveer Singh Bhavnani, but since it is quite a mouthful, the actor decided to drop the Bhavnani. Later, the actor considered changing his name, because his name was Ranveer, which sounded extremely similar to Ranbir. However, the actor decided to go ahead with his name, which worked out pretty well since he has now made a name for himself.

2. He Started Off As A Copywriter

Many actors who we see as actors today started off as models initially, which made it slightly easier for them to get noticed. However, the actor was not one of those. Ranveer started to work with O&M advertising agency when he graduated, as a copywriter.

The cause was said to be Shahid’s role being more significant than his. However, Ranveer has denied any such rumours. In fact, he has been growing his beard to portray Alauddin Khilji in the film and has given 200 days to the shoot of the film.
