Koduri Kausalya Devi also known as Arikepudi Kausalya Devi. She is a well-known story writer and novelist. She was born on 27 January 1936. She started her writing career in 1958 through the story Temple. She wrote her first novel, Chakrabhramanam, in 1961 at 25. The novel won the first prize in the Andhra Prabha Illustrated Weekly Novels Competition. The novel was made into a film under the name of Dr Chakravarthy. The novels Premanagar, Chakravakam, and Sankhutheertham have also come as films with the same names. After her marriage, she changed her surname to Arikepudi and declared her name as Arikepudi (Koduri) Kausalya Devi. Koduri Kausalya Devi has mostly worked in Hindi and other languages. Koduri Kausalya Devi is known for Prem Nagar (1974), Vasantha Maligai (1972), and Dr Chakravarthy (1964).
