Chinna Jeeyar Swamy is a famous Indian religious guru. He hails from Arthamuru, East Godavari district, Andra Pradesh. He was initially trained in Vaishnava tradition and in the age of twenty-three he took the path of an ascetic. He is famous for his spiritual discourses on Sri Vaishnavaism and his subscription to Thenkalai tradition of Sri Vasishnavaism. He is best known for operating several spiritual centres in USA. He is the designer and planner of the Statue of Equality which is dedicated to Ramanuja in Hyderabad. He has also been the guide to the Telangana government for renovating Yadadri temple.
Since 1994, he has been visiting USA to provide his spiritual discourses. He also visited London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Canada to perform Yagnas. In 2013, he endorsed the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) where he instilled patriotism among the students and encouraged them to become an integral part of the society and to serve their nation. He was also invited by the Andra Pradesh government to assist in the organization of the Godavari Maha Pushkaram in 2015. He has also been the speaker in UN for Sustainable Goals.
